3 Tasty and Healthy alternatives to Simple Recipes!

We all love eating food, don't we? Especially tasty food, the sweet chocolate cakes, and some greasy fries. Hungry yet?
As tasty as these all foods are, they are extremely unhealthy too (I bet you knew that already), but we just can't resist! And we shouldn't.
I have here some ingredient alternatives (I personally tried them all) which are super healthy and tasty too! (maybe even more tasty than the original recipe).

1. Dairy-Free Milk

Now I'm sure you've heard about this before. Vegans and dairy-free people love their nut milks. But what is the benefit of it?
Dairy is actually bad for you. I know, even I (a milk lover) never thought I would be saying this. But it is what is. Dairy is one of the many reasons for acne and pimples and also dandruff! Now it might have different effects on every person, but mostly dairy does cause acne.
So now you know why so many people are going dairy free. Also dairy-free milk tastes so good, so why not?
I've tried coconut milk and almond milk and I personally liked coconut milk more just because of it's thick consistency. So I would recommend using almond milk with a creamer.
But taste wise both of them are delicious. Now of course it will take time to get used to it as you have been consuming dairy for so long, but I bet you'll be happy with the results!

2. Coconut Oil

Now I have just tried this in mug cake. But it was delish! Coconut oil is a good alternative for vegetable oil. It has fatty acids which helps in weight loss, it provides energy to the body and brain and it also improves heart health.
Now I used coconut oil in parts with normal vegetable oil as coconut oil has a strong taste and if used too much all you will taste is the oil. So I used coconut oil for half of the quantity needed and vegetable oil for the other half.


Now I know this picture isn't good but I promise it was delicious. Also these cakes are light brown as I ran out of cocoa powder and used dark chocolate instead.

3. Jaggery

Now we all know jaggery is a healthy sweetner. Crushed jaggery is a great alternative to put in your food, like oats and also cereal!
It is very healthy and pretty good too.
Now if you don't have jaggery you can use honey instead.
